Nice atmosphere, great pizza, live music! Visited here once before but a lot has changed for the better. Only two girls serving the takes but they did a fantastic job. The service was great!! Prices were decent too... Can't beat that!!!
Since the late 60's, my favorite pizza joint has been "Twin's Pizza" in North Providence, RI. NOW MY FAVORITE IS WHISTLE STOP IN Baxter, TN
I’m only giving three stars primarily because our second waitress was helpful and nice. Walked in ordered green tomatoes to find out from the second waitress that they were out (so I ordered it for no reason thinking it would come out). Sat for an hour with no appetizer (ordered wings) and it didn’t come out until we got our pizzas. Pizza was alright kinda reminded me of digorno pizza. The place was not packed at all...maybe like seven other people eating there. Probably won’t come back unless I was starving. What I will say is that the wings were good, meaty and crispy and the cobbler was Delicious!
As a TN retiree &grandparent, The grandkids love Whistle Stop...pizza, subs, crisp salad, oven-baked fries. Ice cream sundaes and homemade cobblers....AND music on Friday nights,
Beautiful little spot across from the old train depot, quick, great, friendly service, and superb food at very reasonable prices. The Boxcar sub was fantastic! We will definitely be going back.
Great atmosphere and service. The place is clean. Prices are good. The food is delicious. I have not been dissappointed. I leave there excited about trying something different on our next visit. I cant say enough good things about this place.
